Donation Problem

Well after a couple of attempts (including getting messages in German) to donate - that made me miss the deadline - I am coming here for help. I get a message my cc cannot be used for payment - no the limit is not used up :O: - it's a mastercard which is one of the cards accepted for payment. Any idea what could be wrong??? :damn:

Yes, that's true, donations are always welcome. Since the donation downloads like Pacific Aces are long gone, donations are the only thing keeping the website online (there is a little from advertsing). The recent fundraiser produced enough to cover costs for the first six months of 2011. Hopefully as the months go by, there will be enough donations coming into cover until next year's fundraiser. It's pretty likely that I will downgrade the server in March, since it's unlikely there will be any new sub games for a long time.

Joea, not sure what is the problem with using your cc with Paypal. If you have a PP account, definitely contact them and see what they can do. Thanks, man.

Ugghh no go again, first spit out my home phone number as invalid then rejected my card again. I had a paypla account years ago but deactivated it.

I suspect the problem may be the fact I live in Geneva Switzerland but am currently posting from my Dad's computer in Vancouver BC (visiting for Xmas). I am entering my country of residence and home address as well as a Swiss CC all while posting from a Canadian ip. Maybe that's it? I will set up a paypal account but would rather wait til I go home. For now will try to pm Neal.
