Here is a "bug" that I hope don't get fixed.

At the end of patrol 20, I was bored to death with my IXC. It was January 1942, so I decided to switch back and forth between conning towers to advance my time.

The IXC-40 became available so I upgraded.

By the time I upgraded to the type III conning tower, new AA guns, new engine, hydrophones, sonar, radar, decoys, etc. it was December 1942.

I fill up with fish and set sail.

Looking at the chronometer in the lower right hand side, I see that it is Feb. 1942.

Is this a great cheat or what?

The IXC/40 is only a economical boat with the fuel, I rather by pass it and go straight to IXD2.

If you have the IXC/40 Kurfurst version?
You get a different deck with a bit faster dive time.

So what you are saying is that when you started the upgrade it was January 1942
then when you finished the upgrades it was December 1942
but when you started your patrol the Chronometer had reset back to February 1942
So you got a IXC-40 and a type III conning tower to use in February 1942 ..... Cool :up:

You know what...

I did that.

I played the IXC/40 until Jan. 1943, upgraded to the IXD2.

Spent the money and upgraded as much as possible up until Oct. 1943.

Loaded up with "fish" and set sail.

Looking at the chronometer, it was Feb. 1943.

Here I am in an IXD2, with a Type III conning tower, Dual 2cm C/30 AA guns, the 3.7 cm FK M 42, Balkon Gerat, FuMO 30, FuMB Metox, Bold 2, and Alberich, and its Feb.1943.

What a great "bug"!
