No kidding. Putin knows and uses his celebrity mana. I think a couple of our recent Presidents could have used some tips from his play book. They're authoritative (in their laid back-but-stern approach to things) but really bland in comparison to Putin. OTOH Putin has some time to burn right now, whereas our Pres. is tasked with aging beyond his years.
