View Full Version : Map Contacts No Color
Hi there
I have just come back to SHIII after many years lay off.
I was wondering if there was a specific mod to make all map contacts show as grey or black.
I realise GWX incorporates this but I don't want to download that complete overhaul.
Cheers

Ah, but you should. You will be amazed at all that GWX has to offer. After that you need to add SH3 Commander. You will be playing an entirely different game. :sunny:
Oh, and I don't remember the name of the small mod you want, but Jimbuna will be here in a flash. He knows all that stuff. :D
Maybe next month when my data cap renews :salute:

Maybe one of the fine gracious folk here at subsim could mail you a GWX disc? That way you dont blow your data cap for next month either.

It's been known to happen, Smosh, depending on where you are located there are folks who can get it to you on disk. Post your location (Britain, USA, etc. would be specific enough) and maybe you can get hooked up that way. :yeah:
If anyone wants and is able to do that it would be most appreciated
I'm living in New Zealand.
Please contact me through PM if you can help.
What a lovely Xmas pressie that would be :yeah:
Cheers

Hey, don't forget my finders fee!
And my handling charges!
Actually, Smosh, if you would just be so kind as to send me one of your fine rugby players, I'll consider us all squared up. :O:

I tried to figure how much that would be on my calculator and it said E :06:

You'll have to ask TarJak, he's closer to the Pacific Islands than I am :O:

That's short for "'E's not gettin' squat."

But I thought New Zealand was islands in the Pacific. And noted for its rugby players. And hobbits.*
*Hobbits will not be accepted in lieu of a rugby player.

Would 3 hobbits = 1 rugger?
Or 2 Hobbits and a big stick?
And I guess you could say Japan's an island in the pacific, but their rugby team isnt that well regarded I think.

Technically correct but not really in the spirit of the game :hmmm:
I was thinking more along the lines of the Cook Islands, Samoa, Tonga etc. Seriously, that's where most of our players come from :DL
As for hobbits? They are mostly shy creatures and easily spooked but I'll go check the garden again just in case.

Any bare footed mofo that can climb up a volcano,
(AFTER all the other crap)
get his finger bit off, and still toss a ring into the Lava,
then go home?
That's NOT shy and NOT easily spooked.
I'd stay out of the Garden if I was you.

Yeah but the Aussie Peso is just about worthless atm so when the postie arrived with the cheque there was additional postage to pay because said postage was more costly than the value of the cheque :DL

Au contraire Jimbo, the US Peso is has shrunk to almost parity with ours bringing us much closer to your English dollar.:D 62p to the Aussie compared with this time last year where it was about 42p. Time for an overseas trip I reckon.

Then there's hope for you yet....provided we don't adopt the Euro
Not much hope of that happening soon with the way the European economy is looking.:O:

We're not far off it ourselves...even considering the effect the forthcoming cuts will have :nope:
Looks like this has really got held up in the Xmas mail :hmmm:
Gives me more time to do some RL stuff I guess :DL
It's arrived. The day before Xmas! Perfect. Think I'll treat myself to an early pressie :)
