Hammer Productions. Some of the bestest horror movies came from there. And some pretty bad ones too. :yeah:

Probably the first film versions of Frankenstein, Drac and the Mummy I ever saw when I was growing up, since they were much more likely to be shown on the teevee than the classic Universal flicks at the time. I remember how funny it was when the first SW film came out, I couldn't believe none of my friends knew who Peter Cushing was. He was as familiar to me as Fred Flintstone. :haha:

Back in October TCM ran a whole bunch of Hammer flicks leading up to Halloween. I swore I wouldn't watch 'em but don't you know I got sucked into spending more than one evening doing just that. Even the really cheesy ones still had a certain style. And if you've got either Cushing or Lee (or, ideally, both) along for the ride, it's always going to be entertaining.

I have a couple of them in my collection, mainly because a grocery store was selling lots of videos for a buck each, and those were among them.
