Re-installing UBM but forgot S/N

Hi there,

I need help on this issue...

I've brought SH4+manual(serial) but only the UBM add-on disk (no manual) on my vacations (can't help, I'm addicted to SH...) .

I plan to reinstall everything from scratch but I'm afraid that the UBM disk might ask for a serial number (which is half-world away on my drawer). Anyway, can I install SH4, update it to 1.4 then install UBM to 1.5 without any problem or will I have to reinstall everything again from v1.0?:shifty::shifty::shifty:

Sorry I didn't make myself clear... here are my options:

From a clean install SH4 v1.0:

A) If UBM requires its own S/N (which I forgot back home):

-Update SH4 to v1.4
-Install mods for v1.4
-Play only SH4 v1.4
-Go Home
-Update it with UBM to 1.5
-Will I make a mess with the mods? saved games?

B) If UBM does not require a S/N

-Update SH4 v1.0 to UBM v1.5
-install mods v1.5 compatible
-Be happy :salute::salute::salute::salute:

so, A or B??? :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:DYou kinda gives the answer yourself! :D If it requires S/N, you'll have to stick with 1.4 until in homeport again...

Sorry, but I can't remember if UBM had it's own S/N, but it wouldn't hurt to try an install.


If you're seriously infected/addicted, you'll go out and find the Gold Edition. No more hassle any more! :up:

Will I make a mess with the mods? saved games?Disable any mods before update. And yes, your saves are no good any more... :D

That's my dilemma!

If I install SH4 1.4 only (without 1.5 UBM) and keep adding mods when I get home I'll have to do install everything again from scratch to get 1.5... :damn:
