Hundreds die in Cambodian stampede

PHNOM PENH, Cambodia – Cambodia's prime minister says more then 180 people have died in a stampede during the celebration of a water festival in the capital.

BBC now reporting "at least 339" people dead. Wow... how does that even get that far out of control? And I didn't get the impression it was an event on the scale of, say, the Hajj where similar things took place before :nope:
