Its ok but everytime I play CoD:MW2 or BlackOps I come away thinking nah is just not as good as S.T.A.L.K.E.R. in SP or Left4Dead2 in MP.
Personally I rate BFBC2 over BlackOps, though in fairness I haven't played that much of it yet.

I just finished the Black Ops campaign... it's not as spectacular as MW2 but has a very nice/unconventional for a game story structure. Oh, and its not as silly as MW2 either :D

That's always a plus :88)
I'm not really that interested in Black Ops right now tbh. I certainly wouldn't mind the single-player, but... not for that price! After mostly burning out on MW2 multiplayer (and its largely idiotic player base), I could care less for that side of Black Ops....

I ran through the first mission to get Castro in Cuba in 1961. The graphics are awesome! Can't wait to fly the Mi-Mil 24 gunship.:DL There's also a Zombie Mode feature where you battle the undead alone or with four other players. Haven't tried multi-player yet.

I was disappointed by Black Ops, and not just because I took half a day to even get it to work. It is not as good looking as MW2, the single player campaign isn't great, is a lot more buggy and multiplayer is a real struggle. I would rather they had spent the cash turning MW2 multiplayer into one run on dedicated servers rather than the half assed console lobby nonsense.
On the plus side, I do like the new customisation options and gun purchasing systems, and the larger maps with more players are fun. Snipers are also no longer as dangerous, speeding up gameplay,

Why did it take you half a day?:hmmm:

I had no sound during the missions, just during briefings. I also could not start multiplayer, and got crashes trying to switch between the two. I also got localization issues. I had to reinstall parts, move my steam folder, rerun Direct-X setup and alter configs. Once I got it running, the next day the multiplayer server systems failed completely and no one could play for most of the day.
Even now it's still very buggy, and the patch they released yesterday to fix a stuttering issue has caused a memory leak which causes the game to freeze solid or crash to desktop after a few games online. This is easily the most bugged CoD release ever, I never had problems like this before. Someone marketer or accountant chose a release date and THEN told the programmers how long they had, and that's never good.

I didn't get all those problems you referred to. There is a slowdown issue which may or may not be due to my Laptop.
