The Outlaw Josie Wales, hands down, though it's my considered opinion that Letters From Iwo Jima places him in the list of all-time great directors.

Guilty pleasure: The Beguiled. Not a very good movie, but the only one I'm aware of in which he plays the bad guy and gets his just desserts at the end.

Never heard of it.

And it was an orangutan. :rotfl2:

@ Buddahaid: I have a friend who has several Uberti replicas, including a .58 calibre Civil War rifle. He also owns a couple of real 1870s-era pistols, plus a Sharps and a rolling-block Remington.

I guess if I had to choose, it'd be a toss-up between High Plains Drifter and Dirty Harry. Flags of Our Fathers/Letters From Iwo Jima also blew me away.

The "Outlaw Josey Wales" is by far the best western ever made... Pale Rider and Unforgiven close seconds. Course for a series, Deadwood hands down, not that Clint was in it.

The Beguiled..all those dirty horney southern women, kind of makes you want to get shot in the leg....

I liked that one and the two others. They had a quality about them. :yeah:

And the music was great! Very haunting.

I must admit, I wouldn't mind giving Col. Mortimers Buntline special a try:

"That contraption almost sent you to your grave."

I love For a Few dollars more :DL

Tough call. Loved just about every Eastwood movie I've ever watched. Every Christmas or Thanksgiving at my grandparents meant watching westerns with my gramps (who stood taller than a damn redwood), and of course he knew everything there was to know about the Leone/Eastwood flicks. :)

Not your usual Clint Eastwood ("Pardner") he shares the screen with another great (Lee Marvin) and actually sings in this one. One of my favorites though, up there with the likes of "The Great Race"
