spammers get on the global channels ingame and spew these spam links. Players can buy gold (in game currency) for real money.

Thing is, these spammers have hacked real players accounts, sold their gear, mined resources, etc. They gain this gold via despicable ways. People that buy gold from them just support their 'illegal' methods.
