So was playing campaign, sunk the Shinano in November 1944, was off coast near a minefield so during evasion when i went to the sonar station had the "bell" ringing of FM sonar, which as we know slows down the game big time and may cause a CTD.Guess what, it caused a CTD this time:damn:

Now I tried to remove the DSD file as vickers suggested. However, only a subnet.dsd file could be found, now navalmine.dsd was in any of the folders...stock or mods such as RSRD and TMO.Thinking maybe EAX sound mod has this, however can not find anything mentioning mines in the EAX dsd file.

I'm stuck, need to solve this issue, it is ruining my gameplay, esp in later war since a lot of ops in shallower, often mined waters.Game will even slow down when im on the surface near a minefield, ridiculous.

Also, despite having long ago removed the FM sonar mod and least two fresh installs later, the FM sonar seems to remain for some reason. The minefields training mission is still in sub school. Not sure if this is due to the mod or was just left in TMO.Ducimus?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.I do not get to play much and when I have tried, has just ruined my careers lately.:damn:

Tried a search for the files also, if they are there i dont have a close enough name or they are hidden.Thinking maybe some residule files or something? Either way, need some serious help.

A clean install as in everything deleted- game folder and saved games even mods? Fresh copies of mods may be necessary, either the original zip or fresh download.

From the way you're talking and correct me this issue should be effecting TMO users, just that I've never had a problem with it and been in minefields many times.

Get a answer, let us know. This just start happening?

All i can suggest is either

A.) Clean install.

or

B.) remove mods, one at a time, with a trip to laggy minefield in between. When the lagging stops, you have the culprit mod. If removing mods doesn't work, then your back to clean install.

I do not think this is a problem with TMO in and of itself. Otherwise, a ton of similar complaints would have been posted awhile ago.

Didnt think it is TMO but just wondering why the minefields training mission has stayed.I've done several clean installs.Really aggravating:damn:

Maybe you inadvertantly copied that (abandoned) work in progress into the main mod itself? In which case you'd have to delete the existing copy of TMO after disabeling it in JSGME and then reinstall the mod from the 7zip file.

Actually found the navalmine.dsd file by chance when I was getting my screenshots, deleted it, so will find out soon if that will work.Hopefully it wil!
