Im thinking about making a 'clan' so to speak, for SH3 GWX . Iv'e played alot of SH3 and alot of people from other 'flotilla' websites, just finding them in the sh3 multiplayer list. But only 1 iv'e seen so far used GWX. The rest are just SH3...

I cannot play SH3 without GWX, something about the graphics, and the boat interior leaning the wrong direction just makes me not want to play it without GWX.

Anyone up for making a group for GWX3 Multiplayer?

I too play with GWX 3.0, and thus far I've tried to avoid having multiple installs since my computer is not really reserved for gaming (I prefer to save my space for other projects). I've been quite afraid of delving into multiplayer for the most part actually. It seems on the surface like walking a tightrope of installed mods. Beyond GWX I also use MaGUI, SH3 speech, Decks awash and fuel economy, and a whole host of others. Plus a few more that are permanently installed. In a few cases it's a mish-mash of crossed over mods jury rigged to work together. I can't imagine dumping all of them to play online, as fun as the multiplayer sounds.

Is it really as sensitive as I imagine it to be with mod compatibility? Or is it just the mega-mods that one has to worry about?

I find co-op multiplay to be boring at best. It's nowhere near realistic, and offers nothing I want. Back when we could use SH2 and Destroyer Command to play against each other it was fun. Still not overly real, but fun.

Mods sometimes crash the server if its a super mod, most client mods work. I am open to letting people use any mods that they desire, as long as they dont crash the server! lol. It takes 10 min to load the game and it sucks when its a waste due to a crash of someone's mod, lol.

The server will only crash if someone does not have the identical mods the individual hosting the server is using.

One exception being the graphics, usually.
