Reverse here, rain and fog but we should expect sunshine till friday

I had to give in and turn the heat on last night. Sunny days right now but close to or below freezing overnight and in the mornings. Supposed to have a cold front with rain and possibly some snow/sleet coming in over the next 24-36 hours.

So, like what subjects wouldn't deal with politics?

SH3 vs SH4 vs SH5?

English cricket teams vs Aussie cricket (who is better)?

islam vs scientology vs aquagod?

I guess we could talk about kittens?

The Wankel is an fantastic design. Although these engines do eat a bit of oil. One issue with the Wankel is rebuilding high mileage engines is not worth the trouble. Does Mazda still use the Wankel?

The RX-7 from Mazda had the rotory. It did well. I'm not sure why others did not use this design in their cars.

Anyhoo, weather's looking a bit wet outside. How about your?

Cold, followed by more cold. Likely followed by at least one head cold and possibly a bout of the flu.

Extended forecast shows several months of even more cold, colder cold, freezing cold, "OMFG IT'S FREEZING!" frozen freezing cold; with a greater-than-good chance of snow, blowing snow, drifting snow, wet snow, powdery snow, and freezing rain with and/or on top of snow.

I wonder if the city's plowing budget will run out again this year? :haha:

BTW,

Pie > cake.

Any pie is better than any cake (barring the kind made by 4 YOs with mud, etc). Cake is only edible with the addition of ice cream, and is actually improved by removing the cake and just eating the ice cream.

Love cheese. Love cake. Don't love cheesecake. Dunno why - maybe it's just the sound of it.

Banana cream pie. Lemon Meringue pie. Chocolate pie. All yes. Fruit pies, no.

I like Jim Gaffigan's bit about how cake is "magic" because it brings people together.

"Hey, did you know it's Bob's birthday today?"
"Bob? I hate that guy..."
"There's a cake in the break room."
"...well I should go say 'hi.'"
