wow...what is wrong with this world
he rejected a motion to dismiss the case because of Juliet’s age, noting that she was three months shy of turning 5 when Ms. Menagh was struck, and thus old enough to be sued.:nope:
What also annoys me is that nowadays there is no such thing as an accident, someone has to be blamed/sued!:damn:
Going back 20 years and more an accident was an accident, humans are not perfect no matter how hard they may try!:dead:

People these days have no work ethic and just want money so they can sit on their lazy asses. This is why lawsuits are now common place.

Heh I mentioned this to my mom who is a law enforcement officer, and she said their won't be a lawyer in the world to take this, and even if they do she says its so ridiculous it will never work.

:yep:
People forget that there is huge difference between the right to bring suit (which should not be abridged) and the chance this will even get to court.
Anyone can sue anyone for anything, but winning or even getting it to court is another thing.
I remember when I was auditing court cases, I always preferred civil over criminal. It is a hoot to see a civil judge tell people to get out of his or her courtroom due to a frivolous case. :yeah:
Civil judges have way more leeway than crim judges. :yeah:

I guess you can never start suing early enough?
Just hope the tax department doesn't get any ideas!
