annoying DD behavior

Hi, last 2 missions i have this ghostlike DD that keeps following me.. and seldom gets close enough for deptcharging but always go same direction as me, so it ends up no battery i go flank on surface but the idiotic DD then follows me but still cant see me, this goes on infinite until day and he then spots me and its game over.. there is no way in hell he can be that lucky, i tried submerge several times and he then stops at some 1-4k distance and starts searching in circles but as soon as i get some distance he always turns my heading.. like a magnet.. in middle of ocean, during night and stormy weather... no difference wherever i go surface or submerged..

I am starting to wonder if this is a game-bug

..acually yes :o But i set difficulty to 0.8

Without your mod the AI tends to become deaf and blind so i see no option to not using it?

Got that all the time, TDW somehow reinvented the stock bug with the sticky escorts :D Hope that he can figure out someday how to fix this. It's a very small price payed for the great improvement that the mod brings to the game ;)

I actually managed to lose one,but it was close.He stayed with me for a long time, and I had to go deep and run silent a lot.Took some damage when he caught me on top once.When I got close to base,he disappeared.
In another instance I shook one off by getting land between the tincan and my boat.Must have messed up his radar!:)
