German Football Federation (DFB) president Theo Zwanziger was irritated by the visit which he felt was exploited by Merkel for political gains.

Who said she went to the locker room looking for a vote? I bet she just used her 'executive priviledge' to get in a few looks and a telephone number or two. Good times at the Reeperbahn that night I bet

I hate it when political parasites try to boost their image and reputation by sucking in some of the glory of athletes who acchieved a success in sports. Underhanded imposters and manipulators. Shoot them as an unstoppable penalty kick through the door through which they entered.
