:har:
Paul's initial comments in the debate focused on a Conway TV ad that began airing over the weekend that says that while in college at Baylor University, Paul was in a secret brotherhood that mocked Christianity.
It also alleged that he tied up a woman while in college and forced her to bow down to a god named "Aqua Buddha."

Why doesent the media pick up this one and run with it like they did with O'Donell's 'dabbled in witchcraft'?

It is just more fun to burn a witch at the stake.

My reaction is the same as it was for Christine O'Donnell and witchcraft:
Who cares? Is there any reason that I should be concerned about a practitioner of witchcraft or a worshiper of some diety that resembles Aquaman? (Insert Craig Ferguson sketch here)
Instead, I would like to know, in detail, what the candidate's governing plans are. I want to know what you will do, how you will do it, how you will fund it, and how it will help. Too bad that no one does that; everything is generalities and personalities.
I listen to a Russian Buddhist-influenced band named Aquarium (in fact I'm listening to them right now). Does that mean something?

Never heard of him. Any relation to Sean Hannity?
Also, what is a riddens? And is it important to have a good one?

You mean you don't have one? Anybody who's anybody has a good riddens. Only heathens and philistines could live without a good riddens!

I saw that on a bumpersticker for sale at a local "alternative spirituality" event and lol'd so hard. Not as good as the t-shirt with "These are not the breasts you're looking for... move along" on it, but pretty close. :haha:

A great many years ago I saw a girl wearing a t-shirt with an old-fashioned stereo face on it. Underneath was the caption "I'm already perfectly adjusted, so don't touch the dials."
More recently I saw one which merely stated "It's not polite to stare."

GarionEhm, what do Paganism and witchcraft have to do with each other? I consider myself a Paganist, but I don't believe in any of those witchcraft stuff.

What I mean't was that we have Witches, both male and female, druids, wiccans etc.
'Witchcraft stuff' where I live covers a lot of areas and practises found in paganism, shamanism etc be it herbal healing, blessing the fileds and crops or cleansing an abode of any negativity etc :D. We have witches that worship Dieties from the Goddess, the Horned God, Norse Gods to Egyptian gods and the Great Spagetti Monster. Well maybe not the last one:O:
Gather 100 witches together and ask them what their definition of a witch and witchcraft is and yoo will get 101 different answers. The one thing all the witches that live around me agree on is that they are pagan and proud of it:rock:
As far as the Free Church of Scotland is concerened if yoo don't accept Jesus as yer saviour and or use unorthidox prayers or rituals yer witch and will be killed and condemed to the burny fire :o
And they did this a lot in the 17th century.
Anyhoo I dinnae want tae Highjack the thread :woot:
Cheers
