1. How can you change the realistic setting in a custom mode? Every time I change it and start a new campaign, It changes and I only have three options: low, medium, realistic and no custom.

2. Why is my sound man deaf? He never reports anything. I take over his post and I can hear ships while he can't? is there a mode to fix this?

3. How come the hydrophone work while on the surface? Is it a bug? And can't be fixed with a mod?

You have to adjust these settings in the bunker before go out on a new patrol. On custom mode, you can pick up the difficulty settings that will fit your play style. On the difficulty panel you will see a lot of options with a checkbox next. Mark or unmark what you want and save the settings.
