Barbara Billingsley Died

While she was most famous for her role as June Cleaver on the TV show "Leave it to Beaver", she also had a respectable movie career.

She died just short of her 95th birthday.

While Leave it to Beaver is now looked upon as 50's camp, I am sure there are those here who remember watching it in its prime. :yep:

Thats a shame she had a long and sucessfull carrier quite unlike todays flash in the pan tarts.

I dont know how many pepole are going to remember the original airings of the show but it still runs on some obscure cable channels. The originals were even before my time and thats been a long time :haha:

My lad has the VHS version of Leave it to Beaver (late nineties I believe) somewhere from his childhood days but I can't recall if she was in it and the original series was certainly too early for me :DL
