Seeing as how the end result included Gerard Butler in a loincloth, I'm prepared to forgive and forget.

Saw that this morning. Excellent! :haha:
Moreover, we have some rather disappointing things to tell you about the pyramids, the works of Leonardo da Vinci, penicillin, the Internet, the scientific method, movies, and dogs.

I probably shouldn't admit this, but i started reading the article, thinking:
"WTF, this is too fanstistic! Homer, the Illiad, et all, made up? This is too incredible to believe. What news source is this anyway?!

FRAU! I'm ashamed of you! Using Wiki as a source. Don't you know they never get anything right?
You should have used The Onion itself - much more reliable. :O:
Oh, and they just released this photo of the professor who actually wrote the Illiad and the Odyssee for them.

Anything that comes from the onion is proven, factual and true
That's why you wouldn't believe them :DL
