Wow indeed. But this is something that should be settled at the state level, not federal.
Republicans in Congress are apparently so desperate to not let Democrats accomplish anything that they are willing to override the overwhelming consensus of wiser members of their own party in places like Ohio! Both sides aren't doing a damn thing right now because they are too worried about November. It was a good informative piece until it got into the political BS.:damn:

Transfer Fee is certainly very creative. The key is disclosure. It needs to be disclosed that the fee is going to be assessed. It is in the contract. The buyer can walk away if the fee is going to be applied. In today's housing market I do not see many if any builders enforcing the fee if it means losing a sale of a house.
However, I agree it ETR3, everyone in DC is afraid to fart let alone make a decision on anything until November rolls around.

As soon as the mid terms are over they will be keying up for the next round in 2012 and will once again do nothing of any substance apart from spend your money and cash their paychecks(also from your money)

Correct Tribesman. With any luck there will be new faces in line cashing their checks that is supported by my money.

It seems one should haven't to spend vast amounts of energy constantly looking over one's shoulder for predatory entities.
