What depths to go to avoid air attacks and depth charges? I was at 40m and a plane dropped something that damaged my deck gun.

it must have dropped an air depth charge on you :D I saw a couple of planes had them in the files but wondered if they ever used them. What year did this happen?

You need to brush up on your aircraft recognition

Example A : WW2 British aircraft - note the markings

Example B : WW2 French aircraft - note the markings

The tail markings of our aircraft do resemble the French flag - I'll give you that however, red white and blue are OUR colours too.

British aircraft still carry those colours today.

.. or maybe these are salvaged aircrafts from France before the german invasion, so they carry both nation emblems.. RAF insignia and french flag. :hmmm:

Wrong again - Just google British aircraft insignia if you don't believe me.

On your links all I see is some colored stripes on the tail but ingame I see a flag. I still was convinced that this is bug until I saw this pic:

Beats me how come the brits ended up with using a french flag on their planes. Anyway, is not my problem so I pass on this one.

The never "ended up" with a French flag on their planes. :rotfl2:

A British plane with French colours? You want the Queen to have a fit?:haha:

All WW2 French aircraft tail insignia covered the rudder and the blue is a lighter shade as seen here. That's the difference.

Except that is a DH.98 Mosquito that started to enter service in 1941, one of the interesting things about it is that was mostly made of wood. Remarkable plane, served in a wide number of roles ... from bomber to night fighter.

Well I apologize from not clearify I was talking about the units in the game.

Well the game files does references the AFB_MosquitoMkVI, AFB_MosquitoMkXVIII and ATB_Beaufort (among other units that thet are quite diferent), I forgot about the Beaufort.

And I am a old flyboy ... I still remember Pacific Strike ...

Edit:

A good French aircraft to use would be the Latécoère 298.
