Anyway to repair the battery?

Hi Kapitaens

Today intall darkwraith's IRAI I rtied PQ17 mission. I am underwarer and DCed by 8 DDs over and over again. the battery is quick out of function after 3 close DC explosions. Then you can guess what will happen next. My boat can not move anymore till the DDs finish me. I tried this mission 5 times, each time I was dead by the end of like this. Seems the battery is the first apparatus to lost all along and no way to repair it.:damn: anyone know how to deal with it? appreciate!:rock:

Well the missions were done with Ubisoft AI in mind, a lot of missions start to get a bit or a lot broken if we start to mess around with things, heck after the Historical mods the "In Spite of everything" got a lot tougher for me as destroyers now enjoy shelling my U-Boat that cannot really go much lower that periscope depth.

I do notice the Batteries seem one of the first things to get damaged, honestly I think what you should do is sneak behind it as it seems to be completely unprotected from the back (at least in without IRAI it is) or sit and wait for the screen to pass you and them emerge in the middle of the convoy and quickly disable a few ships before diving (lets see those destroyers trying to hunt a submerged ship in the middle of a convey).

Click on the chief engineer and repair destroyed items .

Yes, But normally the repairing needs 1 hour, and I am not sure if the battery cann be repaired because I already dead in this 1 hour. The DDs do not give me this 1 hour. I think the real issue is that the battery is too fragile and too easy out of function. Hope some genius can make a MOD to fix this.

that part your right the command (repair destroyed items) is an empty link that command does not work
