Video Settings?

I just received my copy of SH3 from Amazon, it turned out to be ver. 1.4 :)
So no messin' with Starforce required!
I thought I saw something about a ver. 1.4b, do I need to hunt down a patch before installing GWX?

My main issue is that I can't seem to change the video resolution of the game, there's no option for it. What's up with that?
I changed it in a couple of config files but the game ignores it when started! :cry: I'm sure in this day & age all you sub captains aren't running SH3 at 1024 X 800 ??:down:

The game was designed for 1080 by 740. There are resolution fixes for various sizes, but not all. As well, these fixes disable some keys or features, so you have to decide as to their merits. Check the mods section for the relevant thread.

Chances are you have 1.4b already but I think it only shows as v1.4 in game.
If you find you find sh3.exe icon, right click on it, select properties you will be able to see your version for sure.
