GWX needs to be installed over a clean, unmodded install of the stock game patched to v1.4.

If you use Commander and want to use it with GWX, you'll also need the config files for Commander + GWX3.

The multipart GWX3 download is 7 bin files plus the GWX3.exe file. But there's also a torrent version where you get everything in one download. Should all be at Jimbuna's FF page (link in his sig).

Depending on your location you can also get the whole thing on disc from one of the GWX team.

If you do decide to use the mod you are well advised to delete the SH3 folder that is usually located in C\MyDocs as well as performing a registry clean.

Commander is a separate tool and works outside the game. It works with any supermod, so there is no conflict. Just make sure you apply the described file, as it has ships in it that aren't in the regular Commander list.

Yes, I have to admit I edited my edited post before I edited it, but not after, as evidenced by the lack of a note saying that it was edited at all. The fact is that she may be my long-lost sister, so rumors of us being anything more than friends have to be edited immediately.

On the other hand, there's no real proof that Jim didn't edit his quote of my edit for his own nefarious purposes. We only have his word that he's even a retired copper. Or a Buna for that matter.

Unfortunately Bernard falls into the "Act of God" category. You will always make mistakes, and he will always be there to blame them on.

The Multi-Quote function is for quoting from two or more different posts at the same time.

I don't even try; I just type and [/quote*] a lot.

*Asterisks inserted to prevent making an actual quote and looking like this:

When you get to the last post you want to quote, click on the Multi-quote icon one time, then click on the Quote icon.

All the posts you selected for Multi-quote will be quoted in the window where you type your replies, in the order in which you selected them.
