I was wondering if there is a mod that allows you to lock the periscope to a target. I remember this being a feature in previous games. If I missed the keymapping for this function I apologize.

after enabling New UIs:

1. move scope's crosshairs on top of the desired target;
2. lock on the traget (by pressing space bar);
3. click on WEP's button, and the on follow target, as shown in the following picture:
