I don't understand how you can buy a G7e (homing torp).. Actually bought 4 of them.. NOT USE them and then lose it when you get to your next patrol.. I don't lose my Flak guns, I don't lose my electronics or my decoys.. Why would I lose my Homing torps, that I save for emergencies or when I really need them?
There has to be some way to keep the torpedoes.. I know in books I read, that the few that got these torpedoes if they weren't used , they would have them again for the next patrol.
Which of them Homing Eels are you use?
I suspect that is just the way the game is build. When you start a new patrol you get the default loadout. Just like you get a 100% patched up uboot as if it came new out of the warf.
A makeshift solution could be to add a certain nett-amount of renown to your total (in proportion to as many torpedos that were left at patrol end) before starting a patrol that allows you to 'purchase' them without loosing or gaining renown. But this requires manual intervention on your part.

LOL
Default torpedo load amount at the commencement of every patrol.
You could change the delta renown @ (GWX example) C:\Documents and Settings\your name\My Documents\GWX\data\cfg\Careers\patrol name
and go to the CFG file Patrols_0
You get what your given. :shifty:
