The bad news? I'm not coming.

The good news? I'm still coming.

Cutting through the existentialist BS, I'll be coming down to New London on Thursday/Friday, and should be able to make it over to Fall River on Saturday, but I won't be staying at the cabins, or going to Quincy or Boston on Sunday. As much as I wanted to go, my Wilford Brimley's Disease has been an issue over the last few weeks, and I've gotten a little cranky over work-related stress issues. I'll still be able to explore the Submarine Force Museum and Battleship Cove (hopefully!) with you guys, eat lots of seafood, crawl around in long, dark, seamen-filled things, and compare torpedo sizes, but I just won't be able to everything I wanted to do.

So I'm sorta dropping out, but I'm making the best of it I can. My Mom and one of my aunts are taking a vacation the same days I planned on attending the meet, and they'll be heading down to the coast with me. Actually, my aunt Katie is a pretty cool person with some eccentric interests, so I might be able to coerce her into visiting the museum with me. My mom...well, she froze on the gangplank going to the Nautilus when we visited in 1998, so probably not! :haha:

See you guys this Friday - I'll be the guy with the enormous head, red T-shirt, and khaki cargo pants. I might even wear the USS Texas hat Neal gave me. Is Noon a good time? Everybody have a great time, take lots of pictures, but my health issues take priority over my free time for the time being. :damn:

Well, at least you can still come and enjoy (most of) the festivities

Ah, damn, that's BS. If it's a diabetes thing, I can keep an eye on you, as I've been a type I diabetic for ~30 years. I was a camp councelor in training, back in the day, so I know how to give shots to other people and all the basic stuff.

Send me a PM if you have any questions.:D

The worst case scenario I've personally dealt with, was someone who was diabetic and epaleptic (sp).:o

If you're having low blood sugars at night, I can wake you up and check you if needs be.
