Does anyone subscribe to the Fighter Aircraft collection and if so what quality are the aircraft models?

They look familiar, I think I have one. The quality isn't bad, die-cast which is nice, but I'm not a pro-pro so I'm not sure on what level quality to judge it. I have the Jap fighter on the right, I think it's a Zeke.

The stand is a little different but I'd say it was the same manufacturer or at the very least the same mold. :yep:

Rgr that....there are at least 32 plus planes to collect (I've heard one siurce stating 64 plus), the first issue is £1.99, the second £3.99 then £5.99 thereafter so I'm trying to decide if it is worth the investment.
This is the easiest way I can see me getting a set of fighter aircraft (through the ages) without having to assemble and paint.
It's been out on sale before just like the one on tanks, not interested.

That may be so but I'm simply asking an opinion/advice on the quality of the aircraft.

What Oberan has in his picture is that of an Easy Model.
Not sure about the quality of the models in the provided link though.
For WWII aircraft I must say Dragon models are the best if you don't mind the fiddle bits.
For best result if one has the time to go for is a big scale of model kit. IF done properly it will beat the crap of every single diecast out there and plus it will be one of the kind and serve as your 'signature'. Keep it enclosed for display protection.

Probably standard quality, those magazines you will need to subscribe to as after awhile they disappear from the shelfs.

For me the assembling and painting is the be-all, end-all of models. I don't collect models, I build 'em! :D

Oh very true, I remember 20+ years back when I could boast having built and painted almost the entire Tamiya 1/35th WWII military vehicle range (those that were available in the UK anyway).
Along came a house move and a good quantity were damaged/broken in the ensuing move.
These babies are metal and can be passed on to the grandchildren (if ever they come along) and won't be destroyed or broken so quickly :DL
Besides....I'm turning into a grumpy lazy old git :O:
