Hmmm. I can't see much from those little pics. When I click on them it takes me to Image Shack where I see them as little pics and the zoom function doesn't make them any bigger. Did you load them that way or am I missing something? I'd like to be able to see them larger, if possible.

Ah common give him a break. All he did was prove that it's possible to sink BB's with a deck gun in SH3. Doesn't mean he exploits the game all the time. Hell I'm sure there are members here that load some cheats to go 80 knots underwater and have infinite torpedoes just for fun when you want a break from all this simulation. Doesn't mean you always play like that.

Besides even if you play like this who cares? It's about having fun anyway isn't it ? :yeah:

Just for a second - look at the name of these Forums. SubSim - means Submarine SIMULATION - not game. Yes, some people play that way - but they shouldn't hang out here and post of gamey stuff - that is reserved for Facebook, and similar places. This is for the more serious types - not that we don't all have our loony moments!

So, yeah, as long as he is going to fly in the face of any serious simulator and tell of taking off armored, turreted secondary batteries, much less the main guns - ESPECIALLY with a Flak gun!!! - he is gonna catch a lot of grief here.

Ok, just going to correct a few things there, I never said that I took them off (well I did but I was tired) mearly disabled and not with a flak gun I took the small macine guns out with that, but other than that the topic was dropped, besides this still is a game that is meant to be fun to play.

ediko has a great point there, as a last note this "Debate" is not helping
the forum in any way and it's a maybe due to "Virtual v Real life" limitations.

Joker, I tried what you said but all that does is magnify a small picture and make the detail too blurry to see. Can you post proper sized screenshots that you don't have to externally link to?

I didn't get any pics of this but still.

What happened was bad weather, real heavy fog, I was up on the bridge enjoying the scene, when I saw a flash and then a few more, I look over there and see a load of dark shapes coming at me out of the fog. Before I could id them the conning tower explodes, so I ordered a crash dive. The flooding was too bad to stop, we started to lose depth and later sunk.

Look. What he did with those post was proof that it still is just a game. It's not a simulation. Some will argue about this but in my opinion sh3 is still just a game. (a very good one at that and quite realistic but still)

I even consider lock on to be a game and not a sim since it doesn't simulate everything just as sh3. DCS:black shark however is close to being one but still has some little flaws that make me believe it's just a game.

And when reading the rules (alright I didn't read them :haha: ) I didn't notice that such stuff isn't allowed here.
