Obama care raises prices.

....Democrats front-loaded the legislation with early provisions they hoped would boost public support.

The health and human services secretary, Kathleen Sebelius (http://topics.nytimes.com/top/reference/timestopics/people/s/kathleen_sebelius/index.html?inline=nyt-per), recently pounced on WellPoint’s Anthem Blue Cross unit for wanting to raise premiums as much as 39 percent in California, and on Thursday she issued a scathing report (http://www.healthreform.gov/reports/insuranceprospers/index.html) detailing double-digit increases sought by other insurers last year and so far this year.

"It's a basic law of economics that additional benefits incur additional costs, and the impact on premiums depends on the type and amount of coverage policyholders had before."

Perhaps it is because I am more aware than most. Or I am more unaware of what is happening. Your choice.

Or you just have a raging obsession and a pet peeve that you can do nothing about, so your venting your frustration here. :O:
No offense, but have you ever actually come to Subsim to, you know, talk about sub sims? :hmmm:
It's not an issue to post whatever you want here, sure, but let's remember that we're a submarine simulation club first and foremost. And it's not that posting any given perspective is a problem, but you know, after a while it gets on your nerves when someone floods what's supposed to be a Subsim social clubhouse with inflammatory politics. I mean sure, by all means, post ahead, but don't get defensive if people start questioning your motives. You've very rarely said anything that wasn't essentially anti-liberal, pro-conservative rhetoric, and you can't blame those who come here for the subs and chewing the fat about all sorts of other stuff for starting to get a little peeved.

Perhaps. But Obama care will cost you more than was promised.
Again I am just the messenger.

Yerp. That must be it.
Perhaps I'm tired of seeing my neighbors being out of work after our president promised expansion after spending so much money.
What? People do that?
:dead:
Again, no offence meant or anything. All I'd like is for people to keep a reality check as to why they're here and why they're posting. Sometimes it helps taking the temperature down a little and focusing on stuff that unites people in community-related activities instead of irritating and dividing them.

And posting about it in the general forum of a submarine simulation community is doing something about it? If your that tired of seeing it, and that much of a political crusader, unass the computer chair, go out the door, or get on the phone to your congressman, and do something already. Hell, even grabbing a don't tread on me picket sign and standing around the nearest tea party protest would accomplish more.

So what you are saying is my opinions aren't good enough to be posted. Yet you spend much effort allowing others to speak their minds. Please be consistant. Otherwise you are a little man.
Back on track.....Now the MSM have discovered Obama Care will be more expensive for everyone..
So what you are saying is my opinions aren't good enough to be posted.
No, he said constantly griping about it here won't get anything done.

I am going to be blunt here.
I don't like you, I am convinced you are a troll and I am bored at work.
Though I suppose it is remotely possible that you are not a troll, but I find it difficult to believe that your grasp on logic and reason is so lacking yet you are still able to type.

Hey folks I don't have the same opinions about Obama, economics, American uniqueness, or the unique place the US holds. The United States has in the world, I am sorry. Please tell me how your country's actively keep the world at peace.

Pretty much. Also, if your just whining to vent.... be honest about it. No need to act like the lobbying political crusader when your not.
