No servers! End of story :damn:

Brought for $10, oh yeah i'll try out mulitplayer as well. Well I should of read up about it first. Why did multi player die out so early this game is pretty good single player, multiplayer (mmo/fps)it would of been alot of fun with the classes engineers/ hunters/melee. I found out only servers running are for Asian players which the US/UK game versions cannot enter. :shifty:

Oh well i'll play the single player to death.

Hopefully you can still get the patch's for the game.

But yeah, it died a miserable death. The revenue model was bad, and the game, in reality, is little more then Diablo2 in 3D. I did enjoy playing it, but never did finish it.

Problem with Hellgate London was Bill Roper got involved with it ,once he gets involved with something it's screwed ,but he's one of these people who think it's someone else's fault that things go wrong.
I never played it online but have a couple of mates that did and there were major issues ,and when people wanted to know if there would a patch to enable LAN play Roper came out and said there' no need and people didn't really want it:doh: ,then said the server's weren't going any where.
I like Hellgate London ,it's one of those games I usually keep on my PC long term and come back to for a bit of fun from time to time.

:up: Yep, im running the game with the 1.2 patch don't know if that's the last one to come out but haven't come across any issues with the game yet. I'm playing as the Markmans and I wish i had chosen Epic mode at the start as normal is a bit to easy. I just stand back and kill the mobs before they reach me the bosses can be a bit difficult but its pretty much plain sailing. I had to laugh after finishing the mission where the Techsmith 319 gets the facehugger thing stuck to his face. :) Anyways good single player game pity about the multi player, lots of quests and how you can upgrade your weapons & do some insane damage.
