Actual motherboard model would be nice, but you're taking the right aproach; don't get another 2GB and stick it in with the previous, just get a new set. No possible headaches getting the 2 pairs to work together.
A-data... pretty generic, should work. Get Kingston if you can, great memory, great value, lifetime warranty, always works.
(try to get 4-4-4-12 if possible, though it shouldn't matter too much. Especially if it isn't intended for gaming)

When I upgraded my RAM quite a while back I told the shop keeper that I wanted to buy 4 2Gb RAM sticks.
He made some phone call and couple minutes later they came up with 3 Kingston memory stick made in Malaysia and another 1 Kingston memory stick made in China. All four are supposed to have the same spec but when I looked at the circuit board you can see quite a lot of differences in layout.
:damn:.
I've no big problems aside from weeks a year of windows crashes but not sure what's causing those.
Screw it all! im doing a full overhaul, new Proccesor Motherboard to support it and DDR3, does this look ok?

got bad news for you, you cant upgrade  but then i see you are thinking of going all out anyway  (try newegg.com before you buy, they have great prices)
based on the info you gave and the image you posted and it says your motherboard CANNOT handle 4gb, it can only handle the 2gb you have now so if you want more rame you need a new mobo to go with it.
here is the link to you board and specs for it : http://www.asrock.com/mb/overview.asp?Model=CONROE945PL-GLAN
Make sure your new board has all the other connectors you need
(PCI-E, IDE/SATA, USB headers etc) So you can re-connect all your existing components.
