google has links to endless info on sub specs and equipt for more detail but IMO in most cases the game gives you fairly accurate amounts

The deck gun is a source of much debate here. The best source, Naval Weapons Of World War Two, by John Campbell, implies that u-boats carried nothing but HE, but does so by saying that all other types were for minesweepers. but Campbell doesn't say it directly. That said, there are several u-boat captains who said they carried a variety, sometimes including all available types of ammunition.

The likely answer to me is that HE was the standard loadout, but kaleuns with some pull managed to carry what they wanted.

Also, the standard total listed by all sources is 220, but www.uboat.net (http://www.uboat.net) lists 250 in one place, and 220 in another.

Navweaps says that the common loadout for the 2cm gun was 2000 rounds, in 20-round magazines for the c/30 variant and later 40-round magazines for the c/38 model.
