Installed the Accurate German Flags for SH5 mod however, I can't get the banners in the hangers for the subs or the Bismark type banner either... anyone with a solution. When I downloaded it I put it directly in my textures folder and not through a game modding program.
Thanks,,

You may want to procure yourself a copy of JGSME as it prevents problems like this from happening and also makes installing and un-installing Mods alot easier

If you insist on installing manually:
1- copy flag.dds, german.dds and german_m.dds to \Data\Textures\TNormal\tex.
2- copy NMS_Bismark_AO01.dds to \Data\Sea\NBB_Bismark.
If you're running one of the bigger graphics mod packs from Conus etc, you might not even need this mod anymore, I assume they include something equivalent.

No I just want to try to install a small mod. Apparently I forgot how to install them and I do have JSGME but, I am unsure of the compatability with windows 7 if you have any suggestions. I can tell you though I feel like this =:damn::damn::damn::damn::damn::damn::damn::damn:

JSGME will run like a top on Win7, Im running Win7 x32 bit currently. I just had to have Dx11 for Sh5 :D

Works as sweet as a nut in Win7 64-bit too:up:

One could actually argue that JSGME is now better suited to Vista and Win7 than it is to XP (that's just progress). Indeed, from the release notes in the readme file:
v2.5.0
...
- Changed: further optimised for use with Microsoft Vista/Windows 7
v2.4.0
...
- Now optimised for use with Microsoft Vista and Windows 7
BTW, if SH5 is anything like SH3, then you shouldn't need to replace flag.dds, german.dds, german_m.dds and NMS_Bismark_AO01.dds. Just delete the existing files to return the swasticas. Maybe someone with the game can test this.
