What!? It was a brilliant success! As they intended to demonstrate, the rider was not hit by the car. If this had been a demonstration at the Pentagon, there would be fleets of those vehicles in service right now!
I had to wait 1 minute and 10 seconds...this is not good enough.
CRIPES! :o

From the way his helmet hit the hood of the truck I don't think so. I freeze-framed it and it looks real - and hard - to me.

I think it is staged. The entire presentation was so unprofessional that it is hard to believe that this would be real and there is no RTC channel in Germany.

I just passed this link to The Frau. She is under the impression it was staged also.

I've never hear of it before and even a quick internet search didn't get me any results.
Oh well, it was still so bad that it can't be true.:O:

It is staged watch right at 1:16 you can see the frame jump just before the truck hits. Also... where did the bike go? Wouldent it be under the truck?

By the way how and what the girl talks, and her reaction, and a kind of feeling over the whole clip the "testing conditions" I think it is a joke scene in some TV comedy format. And the name, "Karl" - it just can't be. :D
