A US appeals court has ruled a couple who gave their children Nazi-inspired names should not regain custody, citing the risk of serious injury to them.Adolf Hitler Campbell, 4, and his sisters,JoyceLynn Aryan Nation, 3, and Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie, 2, were taken from their New Jersey home in 2009. The case first came to public attention in December 2008 after a shop refused to decorate a birthday cake for Adolf

I saw something about this at another site and the headline was "Little Adolf Hitler Will Not Be Returned To Parents."

Made me have a really creepy "Boys From Brazil" moment. :o

Were they planning to home-school these kids? Because IMO naming a child "Adolf Hitler" and then sending him to public school would be cruel enough to justify taking children away from anyone who did it. I mean, that's a lifetime's worth of playground beatings just waiting to happen.

Well if they are true Nazi's they wouldn't, it's its own religion.

This name-giving reveals an ammount of stupidity and a disturbed mindset that indicates indeed that the children's wellbeing may be at risk if being left with their biological parents. I agree with taking them away, therefore. Concerning the parents - maybe we are lucky and they get struck by a lightning bolt.

Well the parents are clearly not the sharpest tools in the box (though they may well be tools of some sort). It's sad though that the kids have to pay by losing their parents, that may do them more harm in the long run than getting beaten up on a daily basis for being called Adolf, however in this case I see no other option.
Shame.

Agreed Skybird. On top of that I think the parents are nothing but attention whores and by naming their children as they did would eventually draw attention to themselves. Removing the children from there adult/childish parents is the right thing to do.
