..., things were going pretty well for the bandits early on. They come in, threaten the front desk employee, rough him up then start taking money from the kids inside using the computers. Then they try and take one guy's DS. Nunh unh.

Just proves that gamers are not a soft target.
If they had PSP's it might of been a different story:har:

You can't mess with Nintendo gamers, 'cus they're too Wii-Fit.
You can't mess with PC-gamers, 'cus they'll outsmart you.
You can't mess with Xbox-gamers, or they'll insult your mother and call you gay.
You can't mess with Playstation-gamers, 'cus they played Metal Gear Solid. (yeah, ran out of imagination)

That's why I always stood up for them in school. Well, after my growth spurt at least. I even tried my best to be one. I have nothing but respect for nerds. Except for those pansy theater nerds:shifty:

Back when I was in high school, I knew quite a few nerds who could EASILY handle themselves in fights.

My friend Rocky is a good example. The only actual aerodynamicist I know, even though it's strictly a hobby with him.
In high school he was a fullback on the football team, and carried a slide rule and pocket protector on his way to practice.
