New, Major Attack Mod has arrived. Summer vacation is over!

Since it is not considered good manners if captains tout their own inventions, I am doing it in their stead. A new, important and major attack device has been developed by Nisgeis along with input from John Channing. It involves an attack using sonar with Map Contacts disabled. It relies on inputting data into the TDC utilizing sonar and bearing readings, along with map plotting, by operating Nisgeis' 3D TDC and Radar Range Unit mod, version 1.02. It is a technological masterpiece, and the single most important advance in attack techniques since the advent of the Easy Aob mod and Solution Solver program a couple of years ago.

This mod is not for beginners, and it will take several hours for most to master. But it adds an element of realism the game lacked. John Channing has just posted an excellent tutorial containing screen shots to walk you through the technique. It can be found in the Mods forum. Below are quick links for those interested. Nisgeis has just posted a link to a series of training missions which can be downloaded and added to the submarine school training exercises.

And I thought the Easy Aob and Solution Solver programs blew me away.... (You ain't seen nothin' yet. Babe Ruth just stepped up to the plate and is pointing to deep center.)
