Help on Tower Emblems please

I am running TMO 2 and would like to a logo to the tower.

Its my company logo for the Engineer consultancy I own.

I thought a WW2 sub would make a cool company vehicle if a liitle unpractical. Then again a couple of rounds from the deck gun to chase up slow payers LOL.

However please can some one tell me how to add the file to tower.

The files that you will want to modify are:

SH4\Data\Textures\TNormal\tex\NSS_GatoTower_T01.dd s
SH4\Data\Textures\TNormal\tex\NSS_GatoTower_T02.dd s

Be sure to select the correct sub type, the example above is for a Gato class.

Simply add the art that you wish to use and save the file with your changes. Don't forget to back up the original files before making your changes. You will need to add your art to both files.

Experiment with the placement of the art to fine tune the location.

An option here is to download a sample from the kill flags site (http://battleflags.net/submarines/index.php) and use it to determine placement. That is what I did.

Not for TMO 1.9 or 2.0. All conning towers except the S boats natively support emblems and kill flags. All you need to do is add your own texture. No positioning or crafty graphic editing required of the sub's skin textures.

Could you give me a tip on how to get the sample emblem off my boat. I have uninstalled SH4, deleted TMO and reinstalled everything and it keeps coming up with the emblem on my conning tower ( also the kill flags ). I dont know what to do.

Did you make sure to delete the SH4 folder that is located in your "my documents" folder?
