Those already outraged by the president's health care legislation now have a new bone of contention -- a scarcely noticed tack-on provision to the law that puts gold coin buyers and sellers under closer government scrutiny.

Perhaps the 'law' is not so bad, what is so bad is it was 'slipped' into the healthcare bill.

What does accumulating wealth have to do with the health care bill?

No different in HM Revenue and Customs requirements here in the UK....apart from the way it was sneaked in I suppose :hmmm:
