I hope im posting this in the right place. If im not please accept my sincerest apologies. My problem is that I just reinstalled the game and patched it applied GWD 3.0 etc etc and when I turn on antialiasing at any level it causes what I can only describe as "artifacts" where the water meets the sky. Little white dots here and there that I find REALLY distracting and more importantly keep mistaking for lights on the horizon. Anybody heard of anything like this before? To be honest im not sure if im running the latest drivers for the card. I looked but I couldnt find any drivers for the card at all on the manufactures site, but Im good at overlooking things too soo... Im also running the res mod where you mod the cfg file to adjust the res. Maybe that has something to do with it? Last time I played the game it was on a 15" monitor with a 7600gt no res mod. I ran AA on that setup with no problems. Just looking for any input some of you more seasoned captains may have for me. If there is any more info I can give you please let me know.
P.S. Ramble ramble...sorry :O:

Had the similar problems, plus no sun halo. You might need Nhancer and follow directions here....

Well I do still have it BUT I think its got problems. Either that or the slot in my board has problems and thats why I am seeing artifacts with AA on with the new card. I tend to think that the 7600gt is a bit messed up though. I still have the box for it though and it says very clearly on the front "24/7 free tech support & lifetime warranty" so maybe theyll replace it,...maybe even with something nicer. Maybe I should call them and see what theyll do. On the other hand maybe I should just give it to you...choices choices.
P.S. Updated 9800gt drivers and am still having the same problem. Cant install Nhancer because it says I dont have .net installed but I have just installed .net 4.0. It still says I need 3.5 or higher to install so no go on Nhancer.

Just got off the phone with BFG tech and they are going to take care of it for me. Said it would take some time since they are getting out of the video card business but it looks like im going to get a replacement. I just wonder if they still have any 7600gt cards down there or if they are just going to send me something newer...wouldnt that be nice? hehe If they send me a replacement 7600GT OC its got your name on it SGT. If you really wanted it that is and werent just mocking the older card hhehe.
Now if i could only get this damn 9800 GT to work with AA. Im about ready to take it back and get an ATI card.
