I know there are a few authors on these boards, Brag for instance, and I figured I'd throw my own venture into the world of published authors into the fray.
It's Sci-fi, but don't think it's a book about lasers and aliens and spaceships. (Oh my!)
This book (it's the first in a series) is about warships.

Back Synopsis:
THE SEAS OF SAND
When Earth was lost, Mars forged on, the colonists of the partly-terraformed planet struggling to survive without the support of their mother planet.
But quickly, the survivors became divided - wealthy Northern settlements sought absolute political control, rugged Southern settlements refused. The war began then; it has lasted now for decades.
No end is in sight as North and South send their mighty treaded battleships to fight on the SEAS of SAND...

It's what's called an "Anthology" a collection of short stories (each about 30,000 words or 50-60 pages, there's 4 in total) set in the Seas of Sand universe, created by yours truly.
