68M to live in Jersey? Um, no.
The 5th ave place is cool if you have to live in the city.
The FL place? Yuck. Fugly.
The 17.5 M$ place in Aspen, OTOH. That's nice, I could live there.
The CA place is also fugly.
If I could be given ONE, but I had to live in it (at least some of the time) and pay taxes on it, but not sell it, I'd take the cheapest one (in Aspen), no question, then maybe the the 5th ave one. The rest aren't worth owning even just for the cost of the property tax, IMO.
BTW, I'm sure there are places in that range on Kauai near Kilaeua or Anini. Far better.

I'd do the Aspen one, but the CA one, I thought that was the entry level price for CA:haha:.

Question, sort of on topic:
If you could have a huge, expensive place, would you get something like a penthouse downtown in a city or a rambling estate out in the middle of nowhere?

You'd probably get to see most of the world in that case :DL

That's a good question, really. Assuming just one REALLY expensive place (instead of the obvious choice of having a few that are only a few million a pop ;) ? )
Wow, that's hard.
Part of me wants a large estate on Kauai (or other in Hawaii someplace, though I really like Kauai). Another part would dig an urban place in a cool city, maybe Paris (I grew up near NYC, love it, but it's not exotic to me).
Tough one, for sure.

Actually, I'd go w/Castout's idea of the superyacht. Otherwise, I think I'd get someplace in the middle of nowhere. An atoll accessible by amphibious aircraft, perhaps?
True, owning a whole island would be cool.
Travel time is an issue, too. Better to have a place that you can live in full time, or one that is easy enough to get to that you can use it a lot.
We've been thinking it might be cool to get a small house in Santa Fe, for example, or maybe Durango. Why, when both are close (45 min to SF, and 3 hours to durango)? Because we could actually use them many weekends of the year. What's the point in having a house that you only visit once a year? Might as well rent.
Then of course there is upkeep... You'd need a 24/7/365 staff at at atoll, and likewise for a yacht. Then there is fuel, consumables, etc :)

Well...in that case, a few more humble places you could lock and leave would be best!! :D
It'd be cool to have a place in Marrakech in the souk. I can think of many less than 100M places I'd like to have as options :)
