Parachuting Donkey shocks Russians

MOSCOW (AFP) - – Russian beachgoers got a shock when they saw a donkey soaring in the blue skies over the balmy beaches on the Sea of Azov in southern Russia last week, police said on Tuesday.

Attached to a parachute, the animal screamed in fear as it circled over heads of holidaymakers sunbathing on a beach in the Cossack village of Golubitskaya in the Krasnodar region.

Can't get Yahoo through work, but just checked it out on YouTube. It's parasailing not parachuting, which is less exciting and takes away the wondering of how they got a donkey in an aeroplane, and then out again at 12 000 feet! Didn't know if I should laugh or not, but then thought that it's getting to do what loads of tourists do - but for free! That and in another country it'd probably end up being somebody's lunch.

So, bearing that in mind...:har:

That's because, like all humans we operate on multiple levels. While we may have philosophical differences concerning politics, that does not mean that we disagree on everything. :up: Respect for animals appears to be one area where we agree, and I am sure there are many other areas we agree on.

I would like to think that there would be some common ground where all humans can agree, but as illustrated by this thread's comments, that is impossible.

This is why, while may strongly disagree with what people write here, I hold no animosity towards them as a person. :yep:
