#20: Carrie Fisher was high most of the time during the filming of 'Star Wars'. She got clean when Empire began filming and thus lost her accent.

Don't bother freeze framing your DVDs, its so small you will never see it.

Reveal my true identity, you have!

Peace is a lie. There is only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength, I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.
The Force shall free me.

Never knew the bit about the movies always being released after Mr. Lucas' birthday :hmmm:

Also, am I the only one who wants to see Christopher Walken as Han Solo now?

I'm pretty sure Kevin Spacey did an impersonation of Walken auditioning for the part a few years back on SNL.

Aha:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=thuIA1QroHs

Clips of Spacey doing Walken doing Solo are intercut in the video, starting at about 0:30 and ending at about 1:15.

There's got to be a better video of the SNL skit somewhere? He did more than the Walken bit, I seem to remember Burt Reynolds auditioning for the part of Darth Vader, maybe?

While Walken is one of my favorite actors of all time, thats not the right role for him.

The tenets of the Sith are more than just words to be memorized. Learn them, understand them. They will lead you to the true power of the Force; the power of the dark side.

Correction: Solo watches while Chewbacca rips Kirk's arms outta their sockets.

Pfft! Kirk would build a some sort of rudimentary projectile weapon out of rocks and a log then blast them both to pieces. :yeah:

My favorite Star Wars joke concerns the producer of the series Eight Is Enough. Sometime around 1980 he was interviewed by TV Guide, and the interviewer mentioned that Mark Hamill had played the oldest son in the pilot episode. The producer said that he had tried to talk Hamill into staying with them when the series went into production.

The producer said he told Hamill that he was making a big mistake. He could star in a guaranteed hit TV series and become rich and famous, or he could go off to North Africa and make an obscure science fiction movie that, except for cult fans, nobody would remember in ten years.
