More saving problems!!!

I had already discussed some problems I was having earlier in this thread:

I do two patrols, returning to base and saving after each one. I'm getting ready to load up for the third one, and my last save from when I came back from my second patrol says:

Patrol 2: October 31, 1940 The war has ended!

I had just saved normally, by exiting the door in my office after returning from patrol.

Since I've downloaded GWX, between being sunk and bad saves, I haven't managed to make it to the third patrol yet.:damn::damn::damn:

Dude. You're just that good. The British found out you got a command and packed it in while you were on leave. :O:

All kidding aside, I haven't heard of this one before, but somebody else might have some ideas. Best to start by listing any other mods you're using and see if something rings a bell for anybody.

Find the entry WarOver= (in bold above for reference purposes) and make sure it says False. Yours probably says True, so just change it to False and save and you should be good to go.

I gave that a try, but there was no change when I loaded up SH3. I guess I'll probably just start a new career, now that the frustration has died down.

Check that you have the default 'Player' name in your saved games folder....that can sometimes make a positive difference.
