how do you guys feel about trainers?... only in single player btw:ping:
Welcome aboard,
Trainers really have only 1 legitimate purpose, which is for QA testing. As the QA tester they can save an enormous amount of time when automated testing isn't possible, or in trying to recreate errors under specific conditions.
Beyond that I don't think they have a place in the players hands. What starts out as just a small little adjustment always ends up spiraling out of control; and ultimately ruins the gameplay.
Not to be a hyprocrite, but since the issue has never been fixed (all the blame lands square on Ubisoft, GWX did they best to help the situation) is the fact that you get into situation where the bloody depth charges won't miss. I've been at 250m+ and the DD above is pounding me with charges like a sniper. In this specific situation (usually happens in Gibraltor for me) I'd use a trainer to nuke the ship once I knew it would be out of charges to drop, or somehow keep it from firing anymore.

i DL a trainer just 2 have some fun and i have found its more trouble than its worth... hull stays 100% but you can still sink if the pumps are overwhealmed (cant spell it).. it can be fun but like instant reload and unlimited ammo (not torps).... like sinking an entire convoy of about 18 ships.. take too much realism out of the game:damn:
