No new missions

I managed to finish 1st three missions (blockade, 50 000 tons and 100 000 tons), and it is December 29th of 1939. I spoke with a guy at a base, and there are no new missions, what should i do? Take a hike around the world... five times?:) When does the next mission occur? I believe it is norway mission?

Perhaps a quick visual search would have found you THIS (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=172419) post.....just two posts down! Instead of a new thread.

Anyway, basically the missions are date based, so if you finish early, just go off on a missionless....mission and wait until the next missions become available. (wonder if I can use the word mission more in my next post ;))

Some objectives are time based . Narvik should turn up later on. It is based on history so the events turn up when they should . Just do some more patrolling and rack up tonnage until then . cheers .

im sorry for double thread, but i was frustrating because for a day or two no one answered to this question at TIPS AND HINTS thread.

Ok so what i did, simply started and ended patrols on purpose to skip a time (skips 14 days each time). Norway mission appears on march 1st, 1940.

I have a question, i am in the waters at this moment, (march 1st), norway iron is on the map, can i actually go there and start doing this mission, or DO I HAVE TO GO TO BASE AND ACCEPT MISSION from the officer and start it that way?
If i do go to a base, and accept mission, i will automatically start march 14th, instead of now (march 1st). I would save 14 days. The time window for this mission is pretty narrow, till april 9th.

your mission start date is the date when you get mission from officer. ..for ex ı f you go to harbour 10th march and select mission you start to mission 11 or 15-16 march...

^^ I already solved it. There is no need to go to a base and talk to commander to get a mission, once march 1st occur, i can go straight to the mission area and do my thing, and thats what i did :) On march 1st went straight to the weserubung, found 4 regural ships, and queen elizabeth, it was pretty easy. Now i am on a Happy Times. Went to patrol 100 000 tons mission, and guess what, large convay, with 12 ships. In the middle of convoy four 16000 toners, surrounded by bunch of 7000 toners, and of course, no warships :) You want to hear the best part? At a same time, about 40km away, another large convoy with no warships lmao
Probably gonna go for those four with one torpedo each, then use deck gun, probably gonna take a lot of time, but of well :) Then gonna head for another convoy :)
