No, no, you keep it packed away out of sight when it's just YOU in the house.

It's when the houseguests come that you get it out and stand it up somewhere between the guest room and the nearest bathroom. After they've gone to bed for the night.

Species are sexier cause they can transform into hot chicks that are extremely horny!

But why do Xenomorphs and Species have such similar tongues? :hmmm:

concept art for both was created by geiger iirc? (at least in the original films)

That's it, that is what my new computer build needs, a ridiculously overcomplicated power switch.

Edit: Hell, I can even picture the wiring diagram.

I believe he made the design for all three. :yep:

Giger's one of those people who should live forever, I don't think we're going to see anyone like him after he passes away. :hmmm:

yer. I've got a folder somewhere that's got digital images of most of his work.. from a web page somewhere out there. Some of the 'landscapes' he made were *ahem* unusual hehe :DL
There's a good deal of depth/detail to his paintings, that even now I see something I failed to see before. There's a few that mess with perspective, so you have to do a 'double take' before you realise what you're actually looking at... oh my! :rotfl2:

Ah yes, saw a collection of his work somewhere too. Planning on buying the Necronomicon books later this year.

His works has pretty strong sexual thing to them, for example the Alien, in Giger's mind was to have the tongue/small mouth as it's reproduction organ. It would literally skull**** it's victims to death. This, was of course later transferred to Species. :yep:

I thought that one Marine pilot in Aliens got skull f-d through their head when they turned around? All you really saw was their brains splatter on the windshield though!

In Species the aliens reproduce just like humans. The tongue thing is just a weapon they use and not for reproduction. It also comes out of any part of their body. In the original Species the tongue thing came out of the Species woman's nipple and the hero of the movie cut it in half with a knife.

Regardless, the Species movie was sort of messed up. It made you feel bad for the girl at first and then the movie turned her into a monster. They should have just kept her innocent for the most part that just went and mated and killed bad guys.

This thread reminded me that I still have the old original "Alien Xenomorph" '18 action figure that was released in the early 80's long before the movie "Aliens" became popular. If only I hadn't played with it so much when I was a kid and left it in the box (it's beat all to hell and the transparent skull covering has a small crack in it).
It used to make an excellent giant monster to fight against my Star Wars figures and the articulated jaws that couls be activated with a lever on the back of the head meant that the thing could grab and chomp them !!!
It was wierd that "Alien" was a violent, gore filled, and scary RATED R movie that kids should not have seen , yet all these toys based on it got marketed to kids ! They had the action figure, kids board games, bubble gum cards, etc...
